This is a prayer I found in a book I am currently reading:

I asked God for strength that I might achieve,
I was made weak that I might humbly learn to obey.
I asked for health that I might do great things,
I was given informity that I might do better things.
I asked for riches that I might be happy;
I was given poverty that I might be wise.
I asked for power when I was young that I might have the praise of men;
I was given weakness that I might feel the need for God.
I asked for all things that I might enjoy life;
I was given life that I might enjoy all things.
I got nothing that I asked for,
but everything I had hoped for.
Almost despite myself, my unspoken prayers were answered.
I am, among all people, most richly blessed.

Praise God! I am blessed.

It's amazing how Jesus presents our requests perfectly to the Father. We don't even know what we're praying sometimes, and yet He still uses it...just not in the way we sometimes expect. Very cool prayer, thanks for sharing Dave.

This is a good prayer. It seems to cover all the knowledge that is hard to remember when things are out of our control. Thanks for sharing!
